Annapurna Base Camp Trek is considered as one of the best trekking in Nepal mountains. Trekking around the Annapurna offers to explore the natural and cultural wonders of the Annapurna region. Annapurna Base Camp Route Permits
Inside the biggest conservation area of Nepal (Annapurna Conservation Area), two permits are needed to trek to Annapurna Base Camp. The permits needed for the trekking are Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and Trekkers’ Information Management System Card (TIMS). The cost for Annapurna trek is Thirty American Dollars (US$ 30) and One Thousand Nepali Rupees (1000 NPR) respectively. And the permits can be issued in the tourism board office in Kathmandu or in the Pokhara office.
Annapurna Base Camp Best Seasons/Weather
The best seasons to trek Annapurna Base camp is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Trekking Annapurna Base Camp in winter (December to February) is not recommended. Especially from January to mid-February due to the avalanches risk areas. Nepal Mountain Company Pvt Ltd is also not recommend trekking ABC in January to mid-February as accidents have happened already. Though, Annapurna Base Camp trekking in monsoon (June to August) is doable. The weather of Annapurna Base Camp route is best in the months of March, April, May, and September, October, November. The temperature in these months is 10 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius on average. During the winter, the temperature goes in the minus. Whereas, the temperature in Annapurna Base Camp in the monsoon is not bad. And trekking in April and October are considered the best and busiest months in Annapurna.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m.)
Day 02: Travel to Pokhara. (6/7 hours’ drive-by tourist bus./820m.)
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul (2 hours’ drive) and trek to Ulleri (4/5 hours trekking/1900m.).
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (4/5 hours trek).
Day 05: Hike to Poon Hill (1-hour hike/ 3210m.), then trek to Chuile (1900m./5/6 hours trek).
Day 06: Trip to Lower Sinuwa. (5/6 hours trekking/2140m).
Day 07: Hike to Himalaya. (5/6 hours trekking/3400m.).
Day 08: Get to Annapurna Base Camp. (5/7 hours trekking/4130m.).
Day 09: Back to Bamboo (5/6 hours trek/2100m.).
Day 10: Journey to Jhinu Danda (4/5 hours trek/1540m.).
Day 11: Trek to Madkyeu (2/3 hours trekking) then drive back to Pokhara. (4 hours’ drive).
